@robinhouston @MLE_online I had a similar book, different cover but probably the same stuff inside, plus the Arthur C Clarke's Mysterious World programmes on ITV on Sunday. My old man pointing at the telly saying "see, you don't know it all" or words to that effect.

Wow, someone created a Mastodon account specifically to jump into a thread and disagree with me about 'AI' hype.@david_chisnall This has made something click in my head, it's always about the spam isn't it? Like, everyone stopped answering their landline because of it, then email spam became a solved problem so then we got social media spam instead which drove people away from social media. So now we've got content spam that didn't even get written by anyone.
