@nileane I'm very glad I switched to SSDs for time machine in 2024 -my time machine drive was constantly grinding and active even when it was supposedly idle!But yeah - yikes SSD prices are nuts now. I got a 8TB samsung sata drive on ebay in summer 2024 for ~400 (which seemed like a lot at the time!) Same drive now new is $1200?! 🫠
