@sarae Shit like this is why I don't post on this account very much. There's always someone out there trying to tell me how to use the Fediverse according to their rules. It's also why I'm pretty liberal with using the block button.

I legit had someone say they trusted Google Chrome to make QR codes without trackers in them over qrencode the fully locally run FOSS command line tool in every mainstream distro, and I just ...@JessTheUnstill That is wrong on so many levels.
Also let me say that qrencode is standard issue on all my systems. For getting a URL from a borked system's manual page into my tablet so I can actually go to it it's very handy, and for that I use the -tASCIIi or -tANSI options to output the QR code right on the console.
