in this case, fascist slurs against Jews, when used by people on the left, have a couple of ugly impacts: 1. they make Jewish people feel they are unwelcome in left spaces 2. they normalize the terms, making it harder to push back against the right.

the primaries in IL are just awash in crypto and AIPAC cash. it's really gruesome. a big test of whether progressives can continue to make gains in the face of this kind of onslaught or whether the D party is just going to be bought out from under us. 1

Jewish people aren't responsible for antisemitism committed against them, but *Jewish institutions that spread antisemitism are spreading antisemitism.* and insisting that Jewish identity is linked to an illegal and immoral war qualifies as antisemitism!

People who convinced themselves that Saddam Hussein was a global threat are looking down the barrel of an actual global threat and don't seem to be able to see it or name it because it's located in the oval office.

also, you know, if it were me, I might point out that if we are worried about a madman with a nuclear weapon, the main concern should really not be Iran right now.

people say Ds have no core commitments and no courage, but it's just not true. These few brave centrists will fight to the death, crawl over broken glass and spit in the face of every of their constituents to vote to confirm Trump nominees.
