1. Get lots of rest. Your body is rebuilding!
2. Now is the perfect time to catch up on that book series you've been meaning to read.
3. Hydrate well and eat easy to digest food. Eat smaller meals more often. Maybe keep a snack bag by the couch/bed.
4. KNIT SHRIMP.

It's an amazing piece of technology. Being able to walk around while still having the use of both hands (unlike when using crutches or a knee scooter) is so helpful. I can make a cup of coffee and carry it to the couch.
