@mtechman The silicone lid is a great idea! Guess I need to check the petfood aisle occasionally. I repurpose nearly every jar that enters my place, and I try to keep the collection of lids in order of size. Occasionally, I just can't find a lid that works. When I snagged a box of canning jars last week, I realized that 3 of them (1-litre size) had irregular lids, neither wide-mouth nor regular.
