It's important to recognize this to better navigate how to make the world better. Exploitation, disregard of ownership and rights, erosion of freedoms, propping up corrupt governments, leveraging the power advantage the system provides for ill; all that you listed are subset to this, and are a property of a deeper older misanthropic engine that in an ideal world would not exist.
