@wdlindsy @meltedcheese these are evil men. But I don’t think that gives an excuse to let “prison justice” run its course. Letting people be murdered in prison is not the justice system flex folks think it is. We have so normalized rationalizing extra judicial murder that it is now seen as a feature of a system of deterrence. And that sucks as a moral ground to repair a society that dehumanizes everyone including and especially the children who are the victims of sexual violence and murder.
