@Maxfieldripken There's lots of reasons to prefer progressive taxes, but "people making way over $45k pay a smaller % of their income [in a flat tax]" isn't one of them.That's true of a poll tax. A flat tax would mean everyone over the $45k cutoff would pay exactly the same %.
