13th March
Wild
In the blue
And the white
And the fox red hues
Of the wakening mountain
The lapwings dance
In tumultuous airs
Spiralling skywards
And dropping like rags
He high in the sky
She down to the meadow
To a place
Beyond where I can know
Together in movement
Apart from themselves
In flow, always in flow
Love from a distance
Always a question
Never still, never certain
This wild weather
Would tear them apart
But always a thread
To keep them together.
