Using AI chatbots for even just for 10 minutes may have a shockingly negative impact on people’s ability to think and problem-solve, according to a new study from researchers at Carnegie Mellon, MIT, Oxford, and UCLA.@GossiTheDog This doesn't pass the smell test. Compare with if you had a 10 minute conversation with the smartest person you know. Or the dumbest. Shouldn't there be more general results that indicate conversations IN GENERAL make you smarter or dumber depending on who you are speaking to?
