@9to5linux I do not understand the desperation to copy macOS even at identical icons and all look and feel and not use macOS, on a second hand mini mac if u don't have money for a new one. Gnome is beautiful as it is. the default Gnome looks today better than windows 11 or recent macOS. can anyone provide a good reason, except the one that it is possible and just fun?

Look like Google is running out of money to fund its AI biz.@nixCraft if google is out of money for AI, the rest should have already give up on it. open ai is not even a fraction of google's capacity and still run. claude is running today on Google's in house designed NPUs because the nvidia gpus proved to be slow and cost too much electricity to use. so if google has problems to support ai offering, it means nobody else can at this scale.
