@Loosf I basically agree. Consciousness however seated in physical reality is part of physical reality and linear time in a way that a computer program is not. It is impossible to copy and reduce to digital or analog information alone, only mutate through linear time.So, it the same thing at all if there is this continuity break - the individual atoms don't matter. The average residence time of hydrogen atoms in an organic body is about a month, they swap with those in water and leave one by one. It is the continuity in terms of structured, evolving processes that just happens to be seated in matter that counts and the boundaries between 'oneself' and 'te rest of the universe' is not a hard and fast kone., only an approximation.
