OK, this is a longshot, but: have you ever run the 90s version of the FirstClass BBS server *or* did you use it back in the day?@misty I used it, can somewhat recall the look and feel but it was more a local gov and high school admin thing (well the teachers did and I was curious about the teachers so you do what you do) so 'BBS without the stuff'.

I had several of those chunky boys back in the day, donated from a company that bought in bulk and then made a wise decision to make them someone else's problem. I ran them in serial, meaning that when one died you swapped in the next.
Be sure to fasten those screws like your ISA connector and traces depend on it because there be some not so good vibes. Also multiple multiple copies of driver driver disks ...
