@dch people are going to spend the same budget on "building software" but there's going to be more of it .. So the cost of running it is going to be bigger, ah well it will be ignored and we'll be cleaning up the shit as allways ..

@dch I`m talking about the usual operational cost including but not limited to securing, monitoring, backing up, scaling, refactoring, downscaling, upgrading , decomissioning etc .. Writing the software has always been only a small part of the cost.

@dch the hardware cost isn't even relevant.

As the cost for building software is shrinking fast, the cost for running software is going to grow faster, and guess what cost most orgs never planned for. #devoops
