@leafeon yea I stopped posting for a while bc of an irl job too but it’s been a few months since I went back to full time art so I was hoping it’d pick back up by now. Reach can definitely be it. I have always struggled around Dec-Feb time but it usually starts going back up in March, at least for me, and it seems to not have despite lower prices

@Puffin Reach can definitely be a factor here, especially since I had to stop posting for a while I feel like I’ve got to “pick up momentum” again if that makes sense

Personally I love doing single-color characters, especially for painted things but even flats is fun. No worries over getting markings right lol I can focus on the expression and art style more :))

My prices are NOT AT ALL consistent bc every time I raise them I stop getting comms and inevitably drop the price drastically out of necessity.

But every time I change them I feel guilty for all the people who were saving when I raise them, or paid the high price before I drop them..

I bring it up bc I’m at a point where even the low prices aren’t selling anymore. I’ve only gotten 6 comms in the last -five months- and thank god they were $120+

So I’m debating just upping the prices to where I’ll only need a few a month anyway. Like $100 per headshot high… idk I feel guilty

Could use some advice here, really. I’ve always priced my headshots $20-45 so $100 sounds painful and idk if I’m at that skill level jskfks but idk what else to do. At this point if I only sell 1 $100 headshot a month it would already be better …
