Simple audio on Linux is indeed quite a bit better than it once was. However, compared to complex audio-handling on a Macintosh (let alone the top-notch apps available for the Mac, it still hasn't left the jungle. This is its Achilles heel.

I started using it in 2013 becuz Vista sucked. It's not a religion. Like the choice between Mac, Windows and Linux (tried them all) it's whatever best suits your needs. -

I once got an AI to agree that it is an emotionless, non-conscious machine (not hard to do). At some point afterward it said "I appreciate ... (something about the discussion)" I had to reply that "I appreciate" is a double-lie, that it has no "I" and that it cannot appreciate.This doublespeak is leading a whole lot of vulnerable people into dangerous territory.
