@girlonthenet Ah yeah! Unless the unicorn in question was selective about which colour of the rainbow they drank from

The makerspace wiki is getting scrapped to hell and back by AI bots.@quixoticgeek Ooh that's fun. David Revoy, an artist I follow, does something similar at the bottom of all his blog articles eg right at the bottom here: https://www.davidrevoy.com/article1138/unified-vs-split-panels-experimenting-with-publishing-digital-comics-on-the-fediverse

One thing I am really looking forward to about going home is knowing the rules.@girlonthenet @PetraPhoenix Oh god, I was *so* nervous about breaking social rules when I was in Japan. But they seemed very forgiving of foreigners, at least to our faces. The only time we got slightly odd looks was when we had to take an unexpected flight due to the Shinkansen being taken out by an earthquake, and we were the only foreigners on a flight full of Salarymen

One thing I am really looking forward to about going home is knowing the rules.@girlonthenet Oh yeah, I know the capitalised Told Off you mentioned there. We're hyper-aware of how we're being perceived

One thing I am really looking forward to about going home is knowing the rules.@girlonthenet This all sounds like me 100%. For me it's a combo of social anxiety probably also caused by the autistic trait of wanting to understand the rules, and also the worry of not being able to communicate in the other language. For what it's worth, I've never been Told Off in a hotel

"I would love to find someone who doesn’t think that ‘a lot’ is ‘too much’ – who loves how *much* I am, and sees that as incredible value for money."@girlonthenet *settles in, braces self for a big cry*
