We in Germany have always asked ourselves: "How could that have happened back then with Hitler, the Nazis, the Holocaust, etc.?"
And then you look at America and it's happening again. Despite social media and keeping a finger on the pulse of events, everyone should be saying: "Stop, this is as far as it goes, we already had this in 1945 and it wasn't pretty."
But everyone carries on and applauds Trump.
We humans are so stupid...

In Kopenhagen gibt es die Vorschrift, dass alle wichtigen Radwege bei Schneefall bis spätestens 08:00 Uhr morgens geräumt sein müssen, damit die Menschen sicher mit dem Fahrrad zur Arbeit fahren können.@Perowinger94
