  • Mixed feelings about this, coz I don’t like this healthy / not healthy discourse
    kancept@infosec.exchangeK kancept@infosec.exchange

@skinnylatte totally agree. I tell people here all the time how it was just easier to eat healthy when I lived in Japan because that’s the way it was setup.

The US just doesn’t seem to be “designed” to support truly eating healthy and staying healthy in other areas, like mental health, family health, etc.

It’s like one of those diagrams where you have many choices but can only pick two.

  • What's the most common complaint I've heard about Linux?

@mtrnord @Linux_in_a_Bit no, I get that. It's like yelling into the void. You had said a few hours in your comment. A day or so, I can see the frustration.

For me, it's not so much time, but how so many use Discord these days as a support channel. No history to even search, really.

@mtrnord @Linux_in_a_Bit as frustrating as that is, it helps to remember people that do help are global and probably not in your time zone.

@malte @Slacker because you don't buy a car to tweak the engine until you know how the car works first. Then you learn about the engine. Then you tweak it.

Many 'noobs' are mad there isn't a bolt-on upgrade to rice it. i.e. a double-click method and that it takes some learning.

At least, this is the experience I've had, and so I just don't bother helping anymore.
