@BenMatrix Yes, I'm happy to accept that. Why would I want to change your narrow-mindedness?

@Geri No, the 10-point plan was accepted by the U.S. as a working basis for negotiations following Iran’s initial proposal. The points listed therein were never conditions for a ceasefire. See, for example, points 4 and 1. Those were Iran’s demands, nothing mor @jayflo

@Geri I can find no evidence or unsubstantiated indications that, between the start of the ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran and the Israeli bombing, Hezbollah first carried out a hostile act—or an act that could be interpreted as hostile—against Israel. @jayflo

@Geri Exactly, ask others for recommendations on who to talk to. 🤔 @BenMatrix

@Geri But I can also well imagine that Hezbollah didn’t fire a single shot. Israel remains unwavering in its pursuit of its goal—or its dream—of one day no longer having to build bunkers in the border settlements. @jayflo

@Geri Was the Lebanon ever part of the ceasefire deal between USA and Iran? And I did not wright anything about rockets. @jayflo

@Geri Yes, I agree with you and Francesca Albanese. Viewing Hamas as terrorists, separate from the people of Gaza, is a deception. Hamas represents the political will of the people of Gaza. Seen in this light, it was not Hamas that started the war with a massacre, but the Gaza Strip as an entity. Just as in 1939, it was Germany that invaded its neighbors, not the Nazis. Unfortunately, the Gazans encountered more violent Nazis in the process. @Mogleg

@Mogleg Is this a race war to you? I wouldn't even be sure if it's a religious war. What I mean is that the rockets fired from Lebanon naturally led to Netanyahu and the Israeli nationalists invading Lebanon. Anyone who gave it any thought predicted that. @Geri

@Mogleg I see the result of the resistance. And the result is hundreds of thousands of displaced people and uninhabitable settlements. This kind of resistance doesn't seem particularly effective, and it shows complete disregard for human suffering. Well done @Geri

@Geri Are there any impartial observers you trust? All I see is hatred on both sides. And just because one side seems more vulnerable doesn’t make it the better one in my eyes. UNIFIL and the Lebanese government had the power to prevent these current events from ever happening. @jayflo

@Mogleg Why should I support the annihilation of entire generations and the eradication of all civil progress? Just because it’s labeled “freedom”? It is precisely this way of thinking that prevents the population from developing under Hamas and Hezbollah. @Geri

@Geri How do you know that Lebanon was a party to the ceasefire agreement? How do you know that some scattered Hezbollah unit didn’t shoot at an IDF soldier before this attack? (And by the way, the Bekaa Valley is a Hezbollah hotspot). I’m not saying that Israel is acting lawfully. But the trigger for what’s happening right now did come from Lebanese territory. @jayflo

@Geri Without Hezbollah’s rockets from Lebanon, the Israelis wouldn’t be doing this. If UNIFIL had fulfilled its mandate, we wouldn’t be in this situation. Not a single Israeli soldier would be on Lebanese territory right now.
