Oh my God. In this old Sesame Street video, Rev. Jesse Jackson leads a beautiful call and response in which he teaches children always to remember that they matter and deserve to be protected, no matter their circumstances.@MaryAustinBooks they hated him for that. I remember hearing members of my family complaining about this very episode. How he shouldn't have had access to those children and all kinds of things.
What they didn't expect was the response of the children, because I got the message even though they did not.
I hope he's resting in power.
