Gleiches LLM coding, allerdings was Modelle angeht offen und inhärent gleich FOSS als Codebasis. Funktioniert auch mit Mistral, ist deutlich weiter entwickelt als Mistrals VibeCLI.

Quite the interesting fresh FOSS drama.
Curious to see how this will turn out. Two on settlement.

Also, should the verdict go towards the Euro-Office fork will we see any precendence for other cases effectively weaking FOSS legal protection? Will distributors or integrators be impacted?

@Karlitschek being a clear FOSS native will surely have a proper strategy & plan forward laid out for this with his legal counsel. Or so one would hope.

Technically a pleasant product that one could only hope to be continued and advanced, ideally on combined man power of both parties.

Allerdings sei hier die Frage gestellt wie das vor KI aussah. Insbesondere auch auf "das Nachplappern von Propaganda" bezogen. Insbesondere auch im "kommerzielle Propaganda", d.h. Werbung/Sales Outreach usw. Bereich.
Gleichfalls kann hier insofern bestenfalls eine grundsätzliche "Waffengleichheit" festgehalten werden, abhängig von Budgets.

Andererseits: Es wird im ITSec Bereich immer kontinuierlich über Defense und Härtung der Ziele gesprochen - das geht auch mit entsprechenden "Weichzielen". Es nennt sich "Medienkompetenz".

Es gibt auch Alternativ-Hersteller Chinesium mit Chinesum-Hülle nach dem guten, alten, finnischen 3210er Standard als Hülle.

I have stories...saw my luggage passing by me on the platfrom from a train window once because neither ms. train-attendant nor the ZugFzF person could be assed to see and act on beyond clear signals a person made from the train door directly on the first door. Lovely. After multiple hours of Passierschein A38 in the DB and about 2 weeks I paid 5€ to get my damaged luggage back. Who doesn't love DB, eh?

Why would anyone byod or even mix private/business hardware, especially if there's MDM going on. I never got that.
Also, work hardware is going into poweroff after the agreed upon hours unless very special conditions and pricing apply.

On the other hand: Keeping the MDM'd business hardware up-to-date/updated or lock it otherwise sounds pretty sane.
