@jameshowell @skyglowberlin a few years ago I joined a Meetup for a night walk in the Japanese alps. The guide, who also sailed, gave us red LEDs to get to our starting point, where there was no artificial light. Then we turned the torches off and waited half an hour for our eyes to adapt. It was amazing, I’d never experienced anything like it.

The best decision I made in my working life was dropping to a four day week.@L___ @ianbetteridge salaries didn’t change, and most people find they are more productive during those nine days so there’s been no issue with the work getting done. Everyone likes it.

The best decision I made in my working life was dropping to a four day week.@ianbetteridge the company I work for allows a nine day fortnight, as long as the work gets done. A four day week would be even nicer, but it’s a good start and made such a difference.
