@shayman ski jumping is also very quick/short for athlete. For hockey games, winner of one game moves to next round until they are down to two teams. So lots of tine on ice. Versus one shot sports where your measure/time of a single performance dictates your overall ranking.

@EdwinG Montréal also lacks airport capacity with destruction of Mirabel. Lost a lot hotel capacity since Olympics (Laurentian (René Lévesque/Peel), Hotel Mont Royal (now Cours Mont Royal) , Hotel Windsor (now offices witha few meeting rooms). (all on Peel ironically).

Laurentien was slated for destruction but Mayor intervened to delaye it so that it woudl have enough capacity.

IF they don't destroy it, the old Radio Canada complex could be used as the international broadcas centre.

@EdwinG Would not qualify. Montréal renegged on the very promises for which it was awarded the 1976 olympics; build permament sporting facilities.

@mWare Part of complaining to CCTS involves the consumer providing evidence they tried to resolve unsuccesfully with the ISP before. But once you have your first complaint you are hooked to paying the membership fees for rest of your life even if no more complaints happens. (not quite fair).

I shall try to find authoritative information on CCTS fees when Ontario re-opens on Tuesday.

@mWare In your case, the revenues you earn from climbing towers to fix antennas/radios *should* not be included in the applicable TOR since no part ofthe ISP service you provide to public. (unless you have your own last mile to serve customers).

Considering CRTC started a consultation on this, I would have thought the notice of consulation would point to a currentd document that has the full fee structure.

Remember that CCTS is a "last resort" after customer couldn't solve it wih you.

For some reason thé Siemens cars make it hard to take picture of my GPS without reflections from all over the place. This is with direct sunlight onto unit so reflections. From inside car not visible.

Currently at Glen Robertson slowing down. At end of faster piece of track. We did hit 161kmh earlier for a few seconds.

This business class car has VIA’s trademark flat spot on wheel sound. And now twice purchase of food on train created a transaction at Canada Post at the post office nearest to where the train is located at time of transaction.

Just after leaving station, train stopped for about 15 minutes due to technical problem.

After very long lines in station that almost went around was given new car assignment. Later learned it our car 3 that was defective and the moved is to car 2 which is business class. The people next to me couldn’t be moved to car 1 to they are among us thé plebes but will get their business class meal. Seat back is highly uncomfortable. Hard. EXO seats more comfortable than VIA business class.

Going home. Made my way to VIA station. LRT worked. Man what a struggle at 25kmh between Lees and Tremblay with screening in agony. Also train had unhealthy whistle-like sound audible from outside.
