@nazgul and then we had a kid. So we need family sharing to manage permissions on his device. Which then I need the role device to manage. It’s all so awful. 2/2

@nazgul I solved this the way you described; I have a role account and I have an old iPhone that gets pulled out when we need to pair a new Apple TV.

Before Family Sharing all of our phones were logged into the media and App Store with the role account, and then the Apple ID, iMessage etc were personal. So we could share apps and media.

Apple added Family Sharing but it’s busted in ways I don’t recall. So that’s how it’s still set up, but MFA for the role account became impossible. 1/

@jik pre-Passover the Costco had these big bags of dark chocolate covered dried apricots. They were so good we went through a bag in days and they were already sold out when we went back. People are scalping them for double the price online.
