@ai6yr Honestly I don't know how the operation wouldn't look like a huge middle finger to residents even without having an "oopsie" in the middle of the flaring process.

Heads-up for anyone who doesn't want their posts scraped and handed over to an LLM.@theorangetheme @dragonfrog @dalias Ah well. Might as well just block his whole server on principle anyway, even if it isn't a technical fix.

Please read ALL directions before assembling your cat.@Natasha_Jay This looks like exactly why I woke up with a kink in my neck the other evening.

🌟 Now with 50% more flavor!@catsalad Not sure if this is a Public Enemy reference, or advertising on the side of a crisps bag.

Am I the only one who dislikes what companies like AirBnB and Vrbo are doing to the housing market AND actively boycotts their services?@MLE_online That seems odd to me. Granted, I'm not really in the market at the moment for AirBnB type services, but it's an issue I am acutely aware of and have booked with standard hotels / motels the last few times I've traveled.

what are we even doing here man@foone I'm a little perturbed it reads: "in arrays" and not: "with arrays", to be honest.

I got an unironic report that an account has a bad aura.@jerry It's the flaring, isn't it? It sometimes gets a little bursty around the edges.
-
I got an unironic report that an account has a bad aura.@jerry Just so long as it has a good beat and you can dance to it, it's probably fine.

This post did not contain any content.@GossiTheDog But as long as the machines do it, you can't blame people. (Or something.)

Guess it's time to fire up the demon core meme...@catsalad I didn't realize the demon core smoked cigars, to be honest.

Guess it's time to fire up the demon core meme...@catsalad Shouldn't this be the doomsday clock meme, if the doomsday clock were over the Venetian on the Vegas strip?

if you had to use one of the remaining unix systems, which would you choose@mjdxp I'm literally running FreeBSD on half of my "important" infra, so I guess I'm supposed pick MacOS and ignore the Mach kernel, etc, etc.
(I'm too burned out at the moment for shitposts.)

Just in case anyone is wondering, I would still like to see the rest of the Epstein materials even though there's now a war going on.@mattblaze I'm more than a little disturbed by the details of potential victims that have apparently not been properly redacted. You've likely been following it closer than I have, but is this an issue from your perspective?

I just saw a tiny dog happily trotting down the street with a short string of those sausages that are linked together end to end in its mouth.@MLE_online We had a few cats when I was growing up that would drag things home that they weren't supposed to have. One of them brought back a package of chicken once, completely wrapped. An other was a bone collector, and I'm still wondering where all of the bones came from. (There were everything from things that looked they might have been stolen from a butcher, to a medium sized leg bone with a knee joint still attached.)
