@atomicpoet Probably to bring it more in-line with the SNES games which still look perfectly serviceable today. I know they updated some of the mechanics for the same reason in some specific ways.

@atomicpoet I played through the pixel remaster of FF3 a year or so ago and quite enjoyed it. Can't say I ever played this one.
