A non-dev friend developed an app that was a very complicated excel spreadsheet.
I don't like a lot of things about LLM/AI. The linked video (no c-suite execs)has pushed me over the edge into it's here to stay and it's useful. Sitting on the sidelines yelling at the clouds doesn't help.

How many years of our lives have been wasted away because someone had a KPI to increase usage of some dumb feature, and they chose the most user-hostile way to increase it.@geerlingguy I always wondered about science fiction that depicted primitive environments that had advanced technology. Watching the enshittification of our technology ecosystems, it becomes a bit more evident of how that might happen.
