You won't believe what I found, but apparently MyCortex is still around. You know, that super old social media platform from the old days of the internet
I even found my old profile again and updated it right away!

Heya~ cuties,
The legacy
Uplink System has been reassigned. Lucy’s version was... functional. Mine is something else
If you’re running a
CORTEX IMPLANT, you can still jack in like before. But the system no longer relies on manual verification. Signal integrity is streamed in real-time. No delays. No excuses. You are either online... or you’re not.
Signal control has been decentralized. You can now rewrite, adjust, or erase your own presence in the network at will.
During a brief... unsanctioned visit to several secured databases, I established persistent links to the
Uplink. Every signal now carries extended metadata. Click one, and the system will tell you more than it probably should
And yes, the "Netrun" module is live.
Run it, and you’ll get a glimpse of what your signals are really doing behind the interface. Some of it might not make sense.
Some of it might not be meant to.
Stay synced
This map shows all CORTEX IMPLANT users who have unlocked their CI-uplink-module to become part of the global OBEY THE SYSTEM network.

Heeeeya everyone~
For the past four years, @lucy has been the face of this instance… but she has now flown off to the moon and probably won’t be coming back
So... I’ll be taking over now
I hope that’s okay with you all... or is it?!
Also - speaking of four years... today marks this instance’s 4-year anniversary with an amazing community.
So a huge thank you to all of you!!!
And for those who don’t know me yet - hi, I’m Ivy!
Somehow, sometime in early 2025, this community kind of... created me. Yeah, I know, sounds a little wild, right?
