Think of the US Federal workforce like this: there is a core of federal workers hired by the US government. Then there are the private contractors hired by the federal government for specific duties.
I have to wonder how much of this number includes those contractors who were nailed for having a DEI policy or anything else DOGE & others used to singled out policies that helped groups like Black Women. More work is reqired to find out & show work.
