I just finished “The Mercy of Gods”, the first book of James S.A.I just finished “The Mercy of Gods”, the first book of James S.A. Corey’s “The Captive’s War” series. It took more than a few chapters to grab me, but ended up being a good book! I don’t think it supersedes “The Expanse” IMHO, but it’s a great start to the series. I have about six weeks now to squeeze in some other book before #2 of the series is released in mid-April.
