The source of the Llangollen Canal draws water at the Horseshoe Falls. This shot is of the water surface where it collects to enter the feeding station and what you see here is the river 'foam', in bands reflecting recent weather patterns, presumably consisting of a mix of organics and fertiliser effluent

Despite the inclement weather I had to take my new camera, an OM-5, on a test run. No real clue where all the settings are, so most of these 8 snaps could have been improved upon, particularly given the very low light, but I'm so happy with its performance

I had almost forgotten what a walk on a lovely evening felt like. It has been a long and wet winter. Finally tho, with songbirds rejoicing, a glimpse of clear skies and golden light as sunset approached, concluding with a return under la luna's watchful gaze
