There are some more of my Turku sketches. I made them in spring-summer of 2023 (most of them in a warmer time, but some I managed to make when it was +2 degrees outside). I walked over all three former Turku tramlines which despite physical absence mentally connect several neighborhoods. I drew city landmarks like Turku Cathedral, but also changes of atmospheres, for instance, when you turn from the river side deep to Martin district. Also, I managed to find small remnants of tram infrastructure like this plate on the house in Nummenmaki (I hope it is still there). Overall, I made about 80 sketches. In the next post, I’ll take more about the process and technique.
