That's at least for the newly verified accounts. For new accounts in the verification queue I don't think there's any notification you could leverage now instead.
Alternatively, RSS feeds could be exposed, one for verified and one for pending accounts. Then hook up Platypush or any even processor that polls feeds and you can have email notifications, or bot messages etc.
These solutions can be easily implemented either on gaza-verified side or the archive side, but unfortunately the development budget I can allocate for gaza-verified is also quite limited in this period so I'd love contributions.
