I definitely got some negative feedback , comparable to past corporate memberships. Which is normal, and once clarifying that this is just a donation, there was understanding.

2. I expected a concerned/negative response like for other corporate memberships in the past, hence we try to make it very clear that this is just a donation. This is quite intense.

@greg Can't speak for them, but they see Blender as a project worth supporting.

@desttinghim I try to keep messaging consistent and not cater to specific audiences. That would be misleading. Criticizing Anthropic is not going to help, what we actually do with the funding matters.

@keeya this applies to most large corporate dev fund members. We take donations to pursue Blender's mission. Individual donations is what helps to keep the balance.
