Got £50 to spend in Waterstones, so about to go absolutely wild at the weekend. Debating whether to go in with a preconceived list or just peruse and buy whatever strikes.

I quite fancy Eat The Ones You Love
Apparently a Gothic litfic and looks a little bit quirky.

Also liked the look of The People in the Trees; don't love A Little Life but like Yanagihara's prose generally.

Lucy Rose's The Lambs looks like it could be up my street; I like my horror visceral and literary.

Middlesex, maybe? Been on the list for a while and I never seem to get round to it.

Same with Paradise Rot, though might have access to that on Verso.

Hoping to happen across some random good sci-fi. Stumbled into my favourite book of all time last time we did this.

I'm Frost and relatively new to Mastodon. Interesting in connecting with and following more people of similar interests.

I self-host this small server, and am into tech, generally. I'll probably be posting about self-hosting (Mastodon & Sear), privacy under surveillance capitalism, FOSS, open hardware, tech law, and so on. Also into archivism, retro gaming, & hardware repair.

Techy-stuff aside, I'm also into wine, books, and philosophy.
