I didn't realize the facebook execs Mozilla acqui-hired last year have been promoted! -
what are we even doing here man@foone@digipres.club me when I forget my experience with arrays and am no longer experienced in arrays(data structure)

This photo of Brian McGinnis is going to be in museums and history books if we aren’t wiped out in nuclear fire.@morb@mastodon.social @hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange what's the propaganda spin being used to discredit this? I only saw the video itself, he's clearly right about that shit lol

Can't wait to use and promote illegal operating systems that do not verify age.@catsalad@infosec.exchange this is like all the times I told people software patents were invalid in Europe and you can just compile freetype with the illegal code enabled
except cooler, and better, bring on the new era of hacking lmao -
I got an unironic report that an account has a bad aura.@jerry@infosec.exchange it involves incense, your Pagan friends, and a ceremony

The ever-increasing global chaos and turmoil makes it difficult to focus on my personal chaos and turmoil@donni@mastodon.social me, staring at the incoming freight train of global issues in front of me:

the other, simultaneously approaching freight train of personal issues, about to slam into my back:

Test your browser's fingerprint and weep.@TimWardCam@c.im @BorisBarbour@mastodon.social that is a bit strange yeah, most screens are still 1080p or standard sized 720p from what I know, also 32bit color depth is pretty fancy I think

I swear to god I’m so fucking sick of AI@LucasAegis@infosec.exchange @danirabbit@mastodon.online absorbing creativity implies that it is a finite resource which depletes when someone... experiences it? which is obviously wrong

as bad as LLMs and tech companies are, humans won't stop doing creative stuff just because someone or something takes in those ideas, people make creative things for unrelated reasons tbh -
Linux brains…@SecurityWriter@infosec.exchange it depends hugely on the desktop environment, I believe in KDE there is a way to keybind this and/or attach it to mouse gestures
as for how well that works with a touch pad, I don't know since I use keybinds heavily, but I think it'd work at least -
the bad neighbor has loudly announced to the building group chat that they would rather block fiber internet installation to all 36 units indefinitely than allow a technician into their apartment for five minutes, as they have a god-given right to privacy@0xabad1dea@infosec.exchange my bet is that there is literally nothing going on and they just enjoy being an asshole

I have made the choice to leave Discord.@cyberseckyle@infosec.exchange damn that's sad, I used to know of cooler IRC servers but honestly the people running them died so.... yeah
I think matrix still has some security communities on places like the mozilla homeserver, but ever since big groups like GrapheneOS got forced off the platform due to constant room bricking bugs not many people hang around there as much tbh -
I have made the choice to leave Discord.@cyberseckyle@infosec.exchange I think https://libera.chat/ has some good infosec channels floating around, there are also a lot of communities on matrix still

Apparently chardet got Claude to rewrite the entire codebase from LGPL to MIT?@Foxboron@chaos.social the most hilarious part is that it's not even really MIT licensed, most of this is AI output with no way to distinguish it from human output, in a lot of nations this is machine produced text and just isn't legally valid for anything
he literally doesn't have the authority to relicense this as MIT no matter how much he wants to, because he's not the copyright holder of the code, a machine created most of it -
market is frighteningly irrational today@0x00string@infosec.exchange isn't this every day? the only way to enjoy the market is to become unapologetically insane for brief periods of time when trading

Are you Quantum AI blockchain zero-trust triple-ratchet encryption ready?@catsalad@infosec.exchange I press the lock button it turn green :3

Coinbase must be concerned I'm at risk of running out of material@utf_7@mastodon.social @molly0xfff@hachyderm.io anything that annoys the rich and powerful will be justified as illegal retroactively, regardless of what it is right now tbh
