Always a bit of a concern doing low-vis gray markings over a gray paint section as you never know how close the tones are going to be to each other until decalling day… Luckily no problems arose on the TA-4J Skyhawk #ModelAircraft@canadianglen CG, I was worried there for a bit as on the decal sheet background the grays appeared to be about the same (hard to tell when the background colour is different what shade it will be) Glad that worked out as I didn’t have marking options readily available 🫣

@Moaske some early comments on KittyHawk kit quality ...1. flash and ejector pins present.not much flash on part edges but openings and angled edges have it.@Moaske @canadianglen @TheNovemberMan Moaske, That sounds like the stacked deck of production is finally making some headway -

@Moaske some early comments on KittyHawk kit quality ...1. flash and ejector pins present.not much flash on part edges but openings and angled edges have it.@canadianglen @Moaske @TheNovemberMan Yes a bit of a shame with those Kitty Hawk kits as they released some subject matter previously unreleased in 1/48th. Still may be the only game in town for a few (like the F9F Cougar).
