Here's some trees at the Akureyri Botanical Gardens in North Iceland. They're not the thickest trunks, but you can tell which way the wind usually blows and how strong it could be just by looking at this photo.

Krýsuvíkurkirkja was originally built in 1857 but was lost to arson in 2010. It was rebuilt in 2020. We followed a sign to this church in 2019 but saw no church. Just some very curious sheep. When we went back in 2022, there it was! No sheep this time.
