hot take, i think: I think it's not actually all that harmful to "read into" animal behaviours and assign them an equivalent human emotion.@PsyChuan I dont think its "harmful", but it IS reductive. Reductive could work as a starting point, but "if you look for yourself in the animal, you might miss the animal itself"
