Feeling a complete lack of spoons. Everything at the moment feels like effort, including things that should be simple.

Meanwhile, an SMC reset on my Mac seems to have made the CPU governor happier again. Ticking along at turbo boost speeds as it usually does.

I am banning PE from filming in 4K ever again. This is just fucking unnecessary. It's someone sitting in front of a screen talking about the video on said screen

In fairness to the Mac, it has picked up speed despite the CPU frequency being low. I think it is perhaps not throttling as much as I realise, but maybe focussing efforts through the GPU etc

I really need to upgrade to an Apple Silicon powered Mac. My i9 is just not cutting it anymore. No idea why it's stuck at such low frequency either.
