    I created this maybe twelve years ago based on an image loading GIF from some website. I used gifsicle to split the original file into frames, ran each one though a PGM to Joy Division filter I wrote, which used xfig as part of the pipeline. Then I converted those to GIF frames and reassembled with gifsicle.

    My Perl xfig library and the joydivision script I used is from 2012.
