Currently thinking about New York Times, Ground.news, and a state-specific journalism effort I've been following for more local info. With maybe The Atlantic thrown in as a source.
But I don't know if any of these serve as a newspaper of record. Maybe the NY Times. Maybe.
Does the US have a newspaper of record anymore? Or any other journalism-adjacent source?
If so, what do you think it is?
Thinking today of the community of Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, reeling from a travesty that those of us on this side of the border are far too familiar with.
Today I'm thankful for modern medicine that can help my body realize my intestinal tract is actually still important and useful and not and enemy that needs to be constantly attacked.
There a lot wrong with American healthcare, but for this part of if (and that I can actually access it), I'm grateful.
Stress levels seems rather exceptional today.
