@alice Ah yes, the DMCA which as we know works so incredibly well that a copyright owner could make one report to a site operator and never have to make repeat reports again and again and again and again and across hundreds or thousands of websites allowing them to focus on their work instead of constantly chasing down site operators who couldn’t care less about preventing copyright violations.

Ars Technica retracted an article about how AI is making the world worse because...the Ars article itself contained AI-generated quotes in it.@wdormann also very light on the details. What I care more about is what they are doing to make sure it didn’t happen again.
