I said to my adult kid today that most of my negative opinions could be summarized as follows(a) "effing capitalism" (b) "effing double entry accounting" (c) "effing bad design." I went to a museum exhibit today that epitomized all three.
@alienghic Interesting idea, but it is stored in a cabinet in my living room where I use it. No, it's something wrong with the threading, as usual, and I have to hunt down the manual. They are simple creatures, sewing machines, but recalcitrant.
@meganL Could be? It IS painful. I’m 74. My knees and my hip often hurt. Some of the other people with me in class are more frail than me, some much less, but I went down those damn stairs, holding onto the banister.Oh sure, I agree that senior citizen classes should probably be on a lower floor. But none of the young people in the building went downstairs either.
