I’m convinced civilization will collapse in a violent storm of events soon. This won’t be the end of the world, or humanity, just the end of civilization, the end days of a horrible system of suffering and destruction.

This is based on facts, on an easily observed chain of events, not some fantasy either good or bad.

The massive overpopulation is a factor in itself, of course. The overpopulation issue isn’t overestimated, but grossly underestimated. There are three major reasons beyond that.

We have the human-created climate change, quickly growing beyond even the boldest projection. The rising sea and increasingly violent and frequent storms will drown and blow away all major human settlements.

There is the upcoming pandemonium, an inevitable wildfire decease that directly and indirectly will kill many millions of people, making the world-wide pandemic in 1918 look like a hand grenade compared to an atomic bomb.

Then there is the strain on social relations, long since pushed past the breaking point not yet quite manifested.

Added to all that is the ongoing poisoning of our bodies, making it more than likely that there will be more mass death and sterility very soon, described in great detail in books like Children of Man. Our food and water, our very surroundings are increasingly unsafe and unhealthy. Nature is fading, life on Earth is dying.

The three and all the rest will arrive as one, unstoppable force. They are already here.

We have also created the Sixth Great Mass Extinction. We have become like a cosmic disaster, destroying everything we need to survive.

Yes, civilization will end soon, whether or not humanity wants it to do so.

Humanity is downright unprepared for the massive drought, the massive flooding, the massive heat, the upcoming extreme collapse of modern human society. The civil defense designed to act under destructive storms, floods and fires will be overwhelmed during the extreme weather coming up when the climate breakdown kicks-in in earnest.

In short, it isn’t prepared for anything of the dramatic future awaiting us.

These are concerns raised by emergency manager in the Norwegian Red Cross about Norwegian emergency measures. He’s saying that Norway is better prepared than most countries, but still woefully unprepared. During the heatwave last summer, several systems and cooling aggregates failed in several places, in hospitals, retirement homes and various public and private buildings.

Quite a few people across the world have voiced similar concerns, even issued far stronger warnings.

Yes, those events and more will be magnified many times when the collapse kicks into high gear.

Right now, like I’ve related elsewhere many times, there is a hundred percent certainty that humanity as a species will do nothing significant about climate change, the extinction event or any major problem plaguing us. The dominant factions, the oppressors and fake leaders make that impossible. Greenwashing is the order of the day. They don’t want to change anything. They like the modern inhuman society just fine. It serves them, and no one else, and that’s exactly how they want it. Their extremely successful propaganda and brainwashing have also made most people unwilling and unable to do anything worthwhile. It is entirely possible to do something, also something that will probably work even at this late hour, but it’s no longer very likely. The greenwashing takes ridiculous forms, like the Norwegian government and national oil company Equinor calling the electrification of the oil fields sustainable, calling them “sustainable and green” and “an environmental field”. The giant Johan Sverdrup oil drilling field is expected to stay operative for at least forty more years. This has long since become a typical approach all over the world. The establishment’s efforts are at deception, not at what’s actually working. The COP-meetings have been a deliberate fraud and political theater from the very start since the first pre-meeting in Bergen in 1990. It has taken a step or ten for the worse since then. Big Oil and its henchmen and colleagues have controlled the process from start to finish. There’s still nothing about oil drilling or fossil fuel in the COP30 final document, and there never will be. They pat themselves on the back and pretend to do something, while humanity and all life on Earth are in mortal danger.

There have been local collapses before, but now, it’s happening all over the world simultaneously.

The end of civilization, the end of life as we humans currently know it is coming, is imminent, and no significant effort whatsoever is made to stop it.
