Sometimes you can't wait, and just need to build it.
- https://fedidb.org - started off as an internal pixelfed debug service, but the stats pages were more used, so I spun out the debug to https://pubkit.net
- https://fediverse.info - needed a way to collect profiles for Pixelfed discovery via the #fedi22 hashtag
- https://respectfulplatforms.org - the fediverse lacked a charter of rights and principles
- https://webintents.net - easier sharing/following and onboarding
So build 
I'm not just working on @loops, @fedidb, @webintents, @activityrank, and other initiatives.
I'm also quietly rebuilding @pixelfed, preparing it for a major release that solves every bug and issue you've ever had.
It's not easy, or quick. I have to redesign and rewrite every page, including the admin dashboard.
But trust me, it will be worth the wait.
If you run a Loops server, you know what I mean 
Here's to the crazy ones. The digital revolutionaries. The #fediverse builders. The ones who see social media differently.
They're not fond of #BigTech. And they have no respect for the #SurveillanceEconomy.
You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
While some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people crazy enough to think they can change social media, are the ones who do.

Pixelfed belongs to the people.
I'd rather be broke and true to my beliefs, than sell out.
That's why I'm organizing a Kickstarter to fund the ethical development of Pixelfed, Loops and more.
It's time that someone stood up to them, instead of joining them.
