@paladin I can see the scrapers doing the normal scraping too, with scraping traffic concentrated on one single country mainly. For MCP, things are more distributed, so I believe the MCP is really being used or at least is initialized in dev's IDEs.

Had that classic indie dev moment today.Had that classic indie dev moment today. Logged into analytics, saw 670k pageviews, heart rate jumped. Then I dug into the sources and found 34k visitors were server farms in the Netherlands, scraping every page.
Part of me is almost flattered. Someone wants the data badly enough to automate collection. That is a weird kind of validation.
But the real lesson: filter your analytics before making decisions. Vanity numbers hide the truth.
