@dangoodin I don't disagree that we must speed up the PQC process, and 2029 seems like a reachable target since the tech is ready now. But what does Google know that we don't? Unlike NSA in the 90s, this is a company that does the best to milk every bit of PR they can out of their R&D results, in particular in Quantum Computing. And the state of the art in QC against cryptography looks a bit sad, like they can factorize large numbers if most of their bits are predefined. They may be making gradual progress over these, but I don't believe they did a breakthrough, or else they'd be claiming everywhere that their quantum computer is finally useful.

@dangoodin detailed cart checkout etc is swiftly becoming a hard requirement of advertisement partners. I hold immense dislike for it. They say they need it for “attribution” under contracts but it makes me deeply uncomfortable.

@dangoodin @ghostsarespooky I'm pretty sure you have to deflate the tire, then remove the tire, then remove the old TPMS, then install the new TPMS, then remount and inflate the tire. Do that four times. Plus have the tool/method to set the IDs in your car. So if You have all the tools to do that probably $20/wheel. At local tire shop its more like $60/wheel.I hav a tool to reprogram my car cost about $100. I have winter wheels/tires and summer set.
